Three unsolved murders in our area are about to get new, national attention.

Investigators need all the help they can get in tracking down the killers of Nancy Bochicchio and her daughter Joey, as well as Randi Gorenberg.

Those murders may also be connected to an attack on another woman and her young son, who managed to get away.

Dateline NBC will be sharing with the nation the terrifying Town Center Mall tragedies and incidents we here in South Florida now know all too well.

Dateline's Boca Raton shoot wrapped up Wednesday.

Correspondent Dennis Murphy and the Dateline team are now ready to reveal new details in the murder cases that all have ties to the Town Center Mall of Boca Raton.

Boca Raton Police explain how they believe an armed robbery at Mizner Park could very well be the work of the same suspect from the Bochiccio and August incidents.

Police also explain why responding officers did not believe the victim from the August attack, we call her "Jane Doe," the victim who got away.

For the first time, she comes out of the shadows and speaks in disguise.

Dennis Murphy: They asked you to take a lie detector test, didn't they?

Jane Doe: Yes.

Dennis Murphy: You'd been a crime victim. What did that say to you?

Jane Doe: If they needed me to, for whatever reason, I was gonna do it. I wasn't hiding anything.

Dennis Murphy: If there was a request for a lie detector test from the woman abducted, did that say something about initial hesitation in believing her?

Captain Matthew Duggan/Boca Raton Police Department: We have to be objective in what we look at. And, you know, if a lie detector was used it would be another tool that would just substantiate stories.

Former FBI agent and NBC News analyst Clint Van Zandt says the same man could be responsible for the Gorenberg, Bochiccio, and August incidents.

"I think so. This guy is not even a -- a someone that you would label a serial killer, even though he's committed three murders. He doesn't fit the definition.
The only reason he's killed is because he was frustrated in what he was doing.
He wasn't out there to kill and then commit these other crimes as -- as an afterthought," says Van Zandt.

Van Zandt believes the suspect is capable of doing it again.

Surprisingly, Jane says she'd like to see the suspect again.

"I'd like to see him--I'd like to see him get caught. I'd like to be able to just look in his eyes, you know? To see who this person was that did this to me and that did this to Nancy and Joey, and possibly Randi, yeah," says Jane.

Dateline's one-hour piece airs Sunday, June 1, 2008, from 9 - 10 p.m. on NewsChannel 5.

BOCA RATON — The Town Center mall murders are getting more national exposure.

Dateline NBC will air a one-hour special Sunday on the Dec. 12 murders of Nancy Bochicchio and her 7-year-old daughter, Joey, as well as the March 23 slaying of Randi Gorenberg.

Police believe the killings are connected to an Aug. 7 attack during which a mother and her son were carjacked in the Nordstrom parking garage at the same Boca Raton mall.

The woman, whom police only identify as "Jane Doe," will be interviewed in disguise on the segment.

It will air at 9 p.m. Sunday on WPTV-Channel 5.

Gorenberg, a 52-year-old wife and mother, was shot in the head and shoved from her Mercedes-Benz sports utility vehicle about 40 minutes after shopping at the mall.

Former FBI agent and NBC News analyst Clint Van Zandt says in the special that the same man could be responsible for the Gorenberg, Bochicchio and August incidents.
